Once you sign on as a client, what we do is request your login info to get access to your bank and credit card statements.

Even if you keep track of your expenses using an excel spreadsheet, the IRS won’t accept that as a form of proof of income/expenses if you’re ever audited.

We’re responsible for getting all of the necessary information from you, such as how many credit cards you have (including PayPal, stripe, etc.) and what bank accounts you use.

We then create a set of books for you using the information we collect.
CLEAN UP BOOKKEEPING

We ask for access to your quickbooks account – either the Desktop account (we ask for a backup of your files) or Quickbooks online (we ask for an ivitation to view your file)

Then we ask for the login for your bank accounts to look at your bank statements.

Part of cleanup bookkeeping is reconciling your records (matching what you have on record to what the bank has on record).
